Short Term Insurance Personal Lines Underwriter

Key Responsibilities: 

1. New Business: Obtaining quotes from the market; analysis of quotes; providing client with professional advice; ensuring accuracy of new business policy schedules; issue and forward new business documents to client.
2. FAIS documents: Ensure that all Fais documents are completed and saved correctly on broker system.
3. Renewals: Analyse renewal terms; obtained alternative quotes were deemed appropriate; write renewal letter; ensure that client is received by client timeously; discuss renewal with client and action any amendments required.
   
4. Provide clients with accurate and relevant advice regarding their short-term insurance requirements.
5. Process amendments, cancellations, and rejections timeously and accurately.
6. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients by attending to all queries and problems in a professional, patient, and emphatic manner.
7. Communicating effectively and constructively with Product Providers.

2. Positive attitude with ability to work well under pressure, use own initiative and resolve issues efficiently and timeously.
